Bookings

For individuals, bookings must be made using the booking system on this website and a credit card. Bookings will be charged from the 14th day before arrival.
Short-notice or last-minute bookings (<14 days before the arrival date) are to be charged in full on the day of the booking.
For groups and bookings of 3+ rooms a different policy applies. Groups of 8+ people or >4 rooms have to rent the whole house for a minimum of 2 nights. Please inquire directly about the terms.
Bookings are not confirmed until a confirmation note by Húsavík Green Hostel has been received.

Cancellations

Cancellations of all bookings must be done by email. A booking is considered cancelled when the cancellation has been confirmed by Húsavík Green Hostel.
Individuals: For cancellations up to 14 days before arrival there will not be any cancellation fees. Cancellations 14 days and less before the arrival date and no-shows will be charged the full amount.
Groups: A different cancellation policy applies, please inquire directly.

Regulations

Check-in time: 16:00-18:00 / Check-out time: 7:00-10:00. The reception is staffed during check-in times. Self-check in upon request 18:00-22:00.
Quiet time: 23:00-7:00 (11pm-7am)
Non-smoking policy in rooms and facilities.
Guests are asked to respect and comply with hostel rules and instructions.
Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, economic changes or inflation. Bookings already made and confirmed are not affected by those changes.

Your personal data and credit card information will be treated strictly confidential by Húsavík Green Hostel. It will be used for booking and correspondence purposes when staying at Húsavík Green Hostel. Your data will neither be published nor will you receive any unrequested promotional material after your stay. This website does not use cookies.

Please note that the Privacy Policy of Húsavík Green Hostel does not apply to privacy policies of services embedded or linked to on this website.
